Stone’s Mint Coffee Milk Stout Will Be Available In Six More States Next Year
If you think Stone Brewing Co.’s Coffee Milk Stout is stellar, let their minty spin put a bit of pizazz in your mouth. What’s that? Only Californians are getting to sample this state-exclusive sauce? No, this mash’s hitting more test markets.
This mint, coffee cask is a five-percent-ABV milk stout brewed with coffee beans, milk sugar, fresh chocolate mint and peppermint packed in 22-ounce bottles. The coffee milk-stout-based brew was originally released October 31st in Southern California.
However, Stone Brewing Public Relations Manager Lizzie Younkin emailed a beer blog and announced the brew will bounce to six more states as of January, 2017—“limited retailers.” The lucky, lauter-y winners include Massachusetts, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Virginia.
“It is the same beer released in SoCal, but it is being brewed out of our Richmond, VA, location, while So-Cal distribution is brewed in Escondido,” Younkin stated in an email.
The minty mash’s predecessor (Coffee Milk Stout) is a seasonal suds that did its debut in 2014.
