USA Today Attacks Patriots Quarterback Tom Brady For Being Friends With Trump
As Tom Brady and The New England Patriots prepare to face off against the Atlanta Falcons in the super bowl, the quarterback is being attacked by USA Today for simply being friends with Trump.
In a recent biased piece, USA Today claims that because San Francisco 49ers player Colin Kaepernick was criticized for sitting during the National Anthem at a football game, Brady should have to answer for simply being friends with Donald Trump.
The article praises Kaepernick for sitting during the national anthem while it demonizes Brady because he has been friends with Donald Trump for years.
And even though the basis of judging someone because of their friends is completely foolish the article goes on to state that Brady inserted himself into a national firestorm by being friends with the President prior to his run for President. And that if Brady doesn't come out and respond to the actions of his friend then it means that he somehow endorses his actions.
The article was written by USA Today's Nancy Armour and it basically is a personal assault on Tom Brady, blaming him for something that had absolutely nothing to do with him. Tom Brady isn't a politician and he should in no way have to justify himself based on the friends he chooses to have. Even though USA Today does have some good articles this one by Nancy Armour is absolute rubbish.
What makes it even more rubbish is that she chooses to paint Colin Kaepernick as a hero. What do you think of Nancy's Armour views on Tom Brady? Let me know on Facebook or in the comment's section below.
